Racer fan, good morning, good afternoon or good evening. Wherever you’re reading us from.
It’s been far too long… and we know it.
For Formula 1 fans, winter isn’t just cold, it’s unbearable. Sundays feel empty. There are no last-lap overtakes, no dramatic team radios. Instead, fans scroll endlessly through rumors, car launch photos, and testing clips, trying to fill the void. The winter break stretches on like an eternity. Every weekend without a race feels wrong, like something is missing.
And then, finally, the engines fire again.
But finally… the engines are back. The tires are ready. The adrenaline is rising. And we are so ready to feel it all again. The 2026 season will feature 24 rounds, starting in Melbourne, Australia, on March 6–8. We are more than excited—we’re practically vibrating with anticipation!
But before we dive into the madness, let’s make a quick recap of last season:
The 2025 season was one of the most intense in recent history, defined by a fierce title fight between Lando Norris and Max Verstappen. McLaren emerged as a true powerhouse, with Norris delivering consistency and composure under pressure, while Verstappen and Red Bull Racing pushed back with their trademark aggression and speed. Multiple races were decided by strategy calls and late-race drama, and the championship battle went down to the final round. In the end, Norris secured his first World Drivers Championship, marking his name in history and proving that the grid is closer than ever.

So, what about 2026? Who should we be watching?
McLaren: After their championship breakthrough, the big question is: can they stay on top?
Defending is often harder than chasing.
Red Bull Racing: Still incredibly fast and always dangerous. Expect them to come back hungry. And bring of Max Verstappen back as #1.
Scuderia Ferrari: If they solve their consistency issues, they could be serious contenders. Especially with a solid driver line up.
Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team: Rebuilding, improving, and looking to return to championship form after a terrible couple years not living up to their standards.
As for the drivers to watch:
Max Verstappen: The best driver on the grid, coming back after one his most impressive seasons yet.
Lando Norris: Now a champion. Can he handle the pressure of being the one everyone is chasing? Will he fix his problem of fumbling the race starts?
Oscar Piastri: Growing stronger and having learnt an important lesson last year from being in a championship battle.
Lewis Hamilton has reported a positive start to his Ferrari career, praising the new 2026-regulation SF-26 car as more “enjoyable” and “snappy” than the previous era. Following a disappointing 2025 season with no podiums, Hamilton feels a “winning mentality” within Ferrari.
And finally, don’t blink—rookies and young talents are eager to prove they belong. One mistake, one daring overtake, and they could steal the headlines.
The start of a new Formula 1 season also brings fresh storylines: rookie debuts, teammate rivalries, strategic battles, and unpredictable weather drama. Every year, fans hope for closer racing, more overtakes, and championship fights that go down to the final lap…… because let’s be honest, anything less would be boring.
Eleven teams, dozens of drivers, and one goal by December.
And as a bonus, here’s the 2026 race calendar with circuits. So you can start planning which weekends will be filled with speed, drama, and unforgettable moments.
Buckle up, it’s going to be one hell of a ride!
